Of course the normal roleplay board rules apply such as no god-mod, mary sue, gary stu, no killing without permission from the other person and everything of the like but these are SPECIAL rules for vampires since people believe in different instances of the vampire. These are based off what I have read and what I believe seems to fit.
1. The Sun - This forum will follow a slightly modified version of the sun rule. Vampires can be in the sun but its like getting a very bad sunburn almost instantly, however, if they are caught out in the sun at it's peak then they will catch fire and die soon after. Therefore, you burn you don't SPARKLE.
2. Stakes through the heart - DO NOT KILL THEM. It just paralyzes them until the stake is removed.
3. Vampires are uber strong and can do anything - No they can't. When a vampire is newly born they're just a little stronger than a human. But as they age they get stronger which means a 200 year old vampire is much stronger than a 5 year old vampire.
4. Garlic? Water? Holy symbols?! - Nothing. They do NOTHING. Holy symbols will only work if the wielder's faith in their god/symbol is strong enough. If you just whip out a symbol it does nothing.
5. How are you Embraced? The vampire has to drain nearly all of your blood and then feed you some of his/her own blood. If they just drain you all the way then you're dead. No coming back >:

The First Tradition:
The Masquerade
Thou shalt not reveal thy true nature to those not of The Blood. Doing so shall renounce thy claims of The Blood.
The Second Tradition:
The Domain
Thy domain is thy concern. All others owe thee respect while in it. None may challenge thy word in thy domain.
The Third Tradition:
The Progeny
Thou shalt sire another only with permission oh thine elder. If thou createst without thine elder's leave, both thou and thy progeny shalt be slain.
The Fourth Tradition:
The Accounting
Those thou create are thine own childer. Until thy progeny shall be released, thou shalt command them in all things. Their sins are thine to endure.
The Fifth Tradition:
Hospitality
Honor one another's domain. When thou comest to a foreign city, thou shalt present thyself to the one who ruleth there. Without the word of acceptance, thou art nothing.
The Sixth Tradition:
Destrutcion
Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind. The right of destruction belongeth only to thine elder. Only the eldest among thee shall call the blood hunt.
